What makes CAT different?
Our focus is an approachable map, a generous Free watchlist and immersive views of available flight data. Free includes 25 saved aircraft and four airports. Premium expands that collection and offers unlimited available recorded 3D, Sky View and Flight Deck sessions, plus all available FAA overlays together.
Both plans use the same aircraft feed. Premium does not promise additional coverage, faster updates or operational accuracy. Compare the current plans and availability.
Clear about what we know
CAT uses third-party aircraft observations, including ADSB.lol, rather than owning a worldwide receiver network. Coverage is incomplete, timestamps matter and positions can be delayed or missing. A smooth animated aircraft is a visualization of observations, not proof of a fresh position. A flight not appearing does not mean it is grounded.
Available history shows observed tracks. Airport associations can be inferred from those tracks and are not filed flight plans. CAT does not provide a complete airline schedule, passenger information or guaranteed departure and arrival notifications. Live-view alerts work only while CAT is open and receiving relevant observations. Favorites currently stay on your device.
Coming to Premium
Custom trails, aircraft styling and higher-quality weather are planned. They are not available yet, have no announced release date and are not included in a purchase today. Notifications while CAT is closed are also planned.
Explore responsibly
