1. Use of CAT

These terms describe use of the CAT website and its maps, aircraft information, weather, FAA reference layers, alerts, replays, Sky View, and Flight Deck features. In these terms, “CAT,” “we,” and “us” refer to Central Aviation Tracking and its operator. Use the service only for lawful informational purposes and in accordance with these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Do not interfere with the service, bypass access restrictions or request limits, access another person’s account without permission, or use CAT to harass, threaten, or harm others.

2. Use official sources for aviation operations

CAT is not a certified navigation system, air traffic control service, flight briefing, dispatch tool, or emergency service. It does not replace required pilot responsibilities, current official charts, NOTAMs, weather briefings, aircraft instruments, or instructions from air traffic control. Pilots and operators remain responsible for independently obtaining and verifying the information required for their operations.

The presence of FAA, NOAA, or other third-party data does not mean those organizations endorse or certify CAT. See the FAA’s guide to preflight briefings for official guidance.

3. Data, weather, alerts, and 3D limitations

Information may be delayed, missing, incomplete, inaccurate, or unavailable. Coverage and update frequency vary. A “live” label does not guarantee an instantaneous or complete view. An absent aircraft, weather return, restriction, or notification is not evidence that none exists or that conditions are safe.

Aircraft motion, routes, orientation, terrain, clouds, and other visual elements may be smoothed, estimated, or reconstructed. Flight Deck instruments are visualizations of available tracking data, not a live cockpit feed or certified instruments. Sky View alignment can be affected by device location and sensor errors. Alerts can be late, duplicated, missed, or unavailable; they must not be relied on for safety or emergency monitoring.

Airport details, FAA layers, flight status, and weather displays are reference information only. A runway or airport marker does not confirm that a facility is open, suitable, or authorized for use.

4. Accounts, plans, and availability

Provide accurate account information, protect your login credentials, and use only accounts you are authorized to access. Creating an account requires acceptance of these terms. You must be at least 18 years old, or use CAT with a parent or legal guardian who accepts these terms. Only an adult authorized to pay may purchase a subscription.

Features may be unavailable because of coverage gaps, third-party changes, maintenance, or technical problems. Free allowances and current Premium features are shown on the plans page. Features marked “coming soon” or “planned,” including higher-quality weather, are not currently included or guaranteed for a particular date. Premium, when available for purchase, is a recurring subscription billed in U.S. dollars at $3.99 per month or $29.99 per year, plus applicable taxes shown at checkout. By purchasing, you authorize recurring charges at the selected interval until canceled. Stripe processes payments; CAT does not receive your full card number. Paid privileges activate only after verified payment and remain subject to subscription status and data availability.

Cancel automatic renewal through Manage subscription on the plans page before the next renewal. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid billing period; you retain access through that period. Refunds, reversals, disputes, failed payments or immediate termination can suspend or end Premium access. Contact accounts@centralaviationtracking.com for billing support, refund requests or account questions. Refund requests are reviewed individually, subject to mandatory refund and cancellation rights. Future features are not a promise of delivery and should not be the basis for a purchase. We will give any notice required by law before material changes to paid pricing or service terms.

5. No warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CAT is provided “as is” and “as available,” without express or implied warranties, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, reliability, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service or that defects will be corrected. Use of the service and reliance on its information are at your own risk, subject to rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

7. Third-party content and privacy

Aircraft data, maps, imagery, weather, and other third-party content remain subject to their respective licenses and rights. Access to CAT does not give you ownership of that content or permission to redistribute it contrary to those terms. Links to other services do not guarantee their accuracy or availability.
